Community Support Assistant - Toowoomba

Alzheimer’s Queensland (AQ) is a progressive organisation committed to supporting older Australians to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes and communities.

We are seeking passionate Community Support Assistants to join our community care team on a casual basis for Toowoomba location. This role supports aged care clients aged 65 years and above within their own homes, delivering services with a strong person-centred care approach.

You will play a meaningful role in enabling clients to remain engaged in their community while maintaining independence and wellbeing.

Requirements

Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Community Care (essential)Previous experience supporting older people in a community settingStrong time management and ability to work autonomouslyGood verbal and written communication skillsAvailability to commit to approximately 20 hours per weekCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificateCurrent Queensland Open Driver’s LicenseReliable vehicle with comprehensive insuranceSmart phoneNational Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
