HR Operator Driver

Put your HR licence to work

Veolia is looking for a reliable HR Operator / Driver to join our growing team in Wangara 6065.

You’ll work on drainage and water projects for Water Corporation, local councils and shires. The role involves driving and operating heavy vehicles, supporting site crews and helping complete safe, practical work across a range of locations.

If you have at least 12 months’ HR driving experience and want to build your skills in water and drainage operations, we’d like to hear from you. On-site training will be provided.

The role is Monday to Friday, with local and regional work, overtime and occasional weekend work as required.

What you’ll do

Depending on the job, you’ll help to:

• Drive and operate HR vehicles safely

• Support high pressure water jetting and vacuum truck work

• Transport equipment and materials to and from work sites

• Assist with drainage and water operations

• Set up, pack up and clean equipment

• Complete basic checks and report any vehicle or equipment issues

• Work outdoors at local and regional sites

• Follow safe work procedures and wear the correct PPE

• Keep vehicles, equipment and work areas clean and tidy

This is a physical, hands on role. You’ll need to be comfortable working outdoors and around drains, water, mud, dirt, noise and changing weather conditions.

What you need

Essential

• Current HR driver’s licence

• At least 12 months’ HR driving experience

• Current White Card

• Strong focus on safety

Desirable, but not essential

• Controlled Waste Licence

• High-pressure water jetting experience

• Vacuum truck experience

• Working at Heights ticket

• Confined Space ticket

• First Aid certificate

If you don’t have all the desirable tickets or experience, that’s okay. Training will be provided for the right person.
