Position Overview
A hands-on role, where you'll be on the tools as well as a providing direction to a small team at mycar Findon Store. As a Leading Hand Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of skilled mechanics while assisting the Store Manager with efficient workflow and job allocation through the workshop.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience within the automotive industry, particularly senior technicians or supervisors.  

Success Profile

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Automotive (Required)
• 4+ years of hands on experience in a workshop (Required)
• Previous experience in a leadership/ mentor role
• Valid Australian drivers licence
• Availability to work a minimum of every second Saturday
• Leadership and the ability to delegate
• Good communication skills and taking pride in quality workmanship
• Ability to problem solve and work in a fast paced environment
• Maintain a safe & organised work environment
• Ability to motivate team members
