Electro-Mechanical Engineer (ATM & Self-Service Technologies)
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer to provide technical support, diagnostics, incident management, and operational assistance across a large network of ATMs and self-service technologies.Working closely with the ATM Monitoring and Field Services teams, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving escalated technical incidents, supporting field technicians, managing parts requirements, and troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in ATMs, gaming machines, self-service kiosks, ticketing systems, printers, cash handling equipment, or other electro-mechanical technologies who enjoys complex fault-finding and technical problem-solving.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 technical and operational support for ATM and self-service technology platforms.Diagnose and resolve escalated incidents from monitoring and support teams.Support Field Service Technicians with advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance.Analyse and resolve hardware, software, networking, operating system, and electro-mechanical faults.Coordinate parts management and replacement activities.Investigate recurring issues and identify root causes.Assist in maintaining high system availability and service performance.Develop and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.Collaborate with field operations, technical services, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely incident resolution.
About YouEssential ExperienceExperience in an Electro-Mechanical Engineer, Technical Services Engineer, Technical Operations Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or similar role.Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across electro-mechanical systems.Experience supporting field-based service teams and technicians.Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, operating systems, and network-related issues.Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
