Business Analyst - IT

About The Role

Reporting to the Business Analyst Lead, you will play a key role in defining business requirements, documenting processes, supporting ERP operations and delivering reporting solutions that enable better business decisions. You will work with stakeholders to understand challenges, identify improvements and help deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements
• Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders across the business
• Map current and future state business processes
• Prepare functional specifications and support User Acceptance Testing
• Assist with prioritisation of business and technology initiatives
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiencies
• Support ERP operations and coordinate with external support providers
• Assist with incident management, issue resolution and system enhancements
• Design and develop reporting and analytics solutions
• Document systems and processes to improve supportability
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
•    Holding a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification or at least five years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role
•    Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
•    Experience gathering, documenting and validating business requirements
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Experience with reporting and data analysis tools
•    A collaborative and customer-focused approach
•    Ability to balance competing priorities and manage expectations

Highly Regarded
•    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or similar ERP platforms
•    Knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain or Retail business processes
•    Exposure to Power BI, SQL or other reporting platforms
•    Experience supporting ERP implementations, enhancements or integrations
