Hot and Cold Airconditioning Pty Ltd is seeking a Qualified Air Conditioning Technician to join our team in Sydney. This is a full-time or contract position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and installing air conditioning systems for our valued clients across the Sydney region. What you'll be doing

• Installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems for residential and commercial clients

• Diagnosing faults in air conditioning equipment using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge

• Performing preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance

• Conducting refrigerant handling and recovery in compliance with environmental regulations

• Testing and commissioning newly installed systems to meet industry standards

• Providing technical advice to clients regarding system operation and maintenance

• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and parts used

• Ensuring all work is completed in a safe and professional manner, adhering to workplace health and safety requirements

• Responding to emergency service calls and providing timely solutions to customers

What we're looking for

• A recognised air conditioning and refrigeration qualification or equivalent trade certification

• Current refrigerant handling certification

• Proven experience working as an air conditioning technician in a professional setting

• Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, including heating, ventilation and cooling equipment

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment

• A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation for attending client sites

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A commitment to health and safety compliance and best practice standards

• Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments and conditions
