We are currently seeking suitably qualified CONCRETERS. The role includes but is not limited to: Setting up and erecting concrete form works and laying steel reinforcing

Pouring, spreading, levelling and smoothing concrete using screeds and templates to ensure a level surface Using different trowels or trowelling machines to smooth and polish the surface once they have poured the concrete Installing wiring mesh correctly to reinforce and keep the concrete in place

Taking appropriate measures when setting up the project to ensure no defects after pouring the concrete Tamping, smoothing, shaping and sealing concrete Forming expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straight edges

Installing fixtures in concrete such as anchor bolts, steel plates and door sills Wetting concrete and rubbing with abrasives to finish vertical surfaces Covering concrete with plastic sheeting and sand to cure it

Cutting lines in concrete using power cutters Covering the concrete with sand and plastic to ensure it stays protected while setting May cover freshly poured concrete with colouring powders and other materials

To be considered for this role, you must have: Relevant training and/or certifications in concrete labour Proven hands-on experience in this field.

Ability to perform strenuous tasks with your hands. Ability to measure accurately and read specifications. Ability to meet job specifications

Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment Good communication skills Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
