The Opportunity:

This is a senior operational leadership opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join an established meat industry business in Sydney. Leading approximately 20-25 employees across multiple shifts, you'll take responsibility for a complex warehouse environment incorporating multiple freezers and chillers. The business is looking for a strong leader who can bring greater structure, consistency and accountability to the operation while developing the systems and processes required to support future growth.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for the performance of the site warehouse operation and the leadership of its employees across multiple shifts. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, supporting and developing the warehouse team.

• Creating and implementing SOPs.

• Establishing clear KPIs and accountability measure

• Improving warehouse systems, processes and workflows.

• Managing chilled and frozen meat commodity inventory.

• Overseeing stock control, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.

• Managing labour planning, productivity and operational performance.

• Maintaining food safety, quality and workplace safety standards.

• Working closely with the broader management team.

• Identifying operational risks and improvement opportunities.

• Preparing the warehouse operation to support future business growth.

The Candidate:

• Senior warehouse leadership experience within a large and structured environment.

• Meat industry experience is essential. You must understand meat products and the operational requirements associated with chilled and frozen meat commodities to be considered for an interview.

• Experience managing approximately 20-25 employees across multiple shifts.

• A proven ability to lead operational teams and improve performance.

• Experience creating and implementing SOPs.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse systems, inventory control and stock management.

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems.

• Knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP.

• Strong labour planning and performance management capability.

• The confidence to introduce structure, processes and measurable KPIs.

• A practical leadership style and the ability to earn the respect of an operational team
