HSET Advisor (FIFO Perth | 14:14 Roster)

KHG Contracting is a growing, multi-disciplinary company delivering Civil Construction, Mechanical Maintenance & Shutdowns, SMP, and Plant & Equipment services across regional Western Australia, including the Pilbara, Mid-West, Wheatbelt, and Bunbury.

With a workforce of 200+ employees across 9 active worksites, we continue to expand and are seeking expressions of interest from experienced HSET Advisors who are interested in future opportunities within our business on a 14:14 FIFO roster from Perth. We are looking for someone who can start right ASAP.

About the Opportunity

As a HSET Advisor, you will play an important role in supporting our operational teams across maintenance, construction, bulk earthworks, TSF, and NPI projects. Working alongside experienced site personnel, you will contribute to maintaining a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance across all project activities.

Typical Responsibilities

• Provide proactive HSET support to site teams, ensuring systems are effectively implemented and maintained

• Promote and uphold KHG's commitment to Zero Harm

• Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation, client requirements, and company standards

• Support the development and continuous improvement of HSE systems and project requirements

• Facilitate toolbox talks, pre-starts, and safety meetings

• Deliver HSE training, site inductions, and VOC assessments

• Review and maintain HSE documentation, including procedures, risk assessments, and SWMS

• Coordinate HSE initiatives and safety campaigns

• Monitor, collect, and report HSE performance data

• Assist with incident investigations and corrective action management

What We're Looking For

We are interested in hearing from candidates who possess:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a HSE role

• 5+ years' experience within mining, construction, maintenance, or civil environments

• Relevant qualification in Work Health & Safety

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122) with LLN experience (desirable)

• Strong knowledge of HSE systems, compliance requirements, and VOC processes

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
