This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished executive leader to influence the delivery of healthcare at scale and contribute to the strategic priorities of one of Australia's largest and most respected public health systems.

An exceptional opportunity exists for a visionary executive to lead Royal North Shore Hospital, one of Australia's leading tertiary referral and teaching hospitals, recognised for excellence in specialist and complex care, research, education and innovation.  Reporting to the Chief Executive, Northern Sydney Local Health District, the General Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across clinical services, workforce, financial performance and major development initiatives. As a key member of the NSLHD Executive, the role will drive organisational performance, service improvement and transformational change across a complex healthcare environment.

This is an ongoing, full time, Band 2, Health Service Senior Executive (HSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $312,774 to $351,316 per annum, with annual performance reviews, will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

About you 

We are seeking an accomplished executive leader who can support the work of NSW Health with: 

• Extensive senior executive experience leading large-scale healthcare operations or similarly complex service organisations, delivering sustained clinical, operational and financial performance outcomes.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and a proven ability to balance strategic, financial, workforce and service delivery priorities.
• Strong track record managing significant budgets, resources and organisational performance against agreed targets.
• Demonstrated capability to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ability to meet the focus capabilities of the NSW Public Sector Capability Framework at the required level.
