This is where you take the next step as a Senior Project Engineer. At Built, you'll lead the engineering delivery of complex, city-shaping projects, solve challenging technical problems, and influence outcomes from design through to completion. You'll work alongside experienced project leaders who back innovation, value new ideas and support your growth as both a technical expert and people leader.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a critical role in delivering some of our most complex commercial construction projects. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, you'll provide technical leadership, drive engineering excellence and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the technical delivery of projects from design coordination and procurement through to construction and project close out.
• Drive innovative engineering and value engineering solutions that improve project outcomes while managing risk.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders to resolve complex design and construction challenges.
• Support programme and budget performance by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and project delivery.
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Site Engineers, building capability within the team and fostering a collaborative project culture.

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for an experienced construction professional who thrives in complex project environments and enjoys leading others to achieve outstanding results. You'll combine strong technical expertise with sound commercial judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships across project teams and stakeholders.

You will bring:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering high-value commercial construction projects and managing complex design and construction interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, design management, procurement processes and contract administration.
• Proven leadership capability with experience mentoring engineers and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
