Store Person / Delivery Driver

About the Role

ComfortStyle Furniture & Bedding is seeking a casual Storeperson / Delivery Driver to join our Margaret River team.

This position offers approximately 8–10 hours per week, depending on delivery schedules and business requirements. The role is primarily weekday-based and combines furniture deliveries, stock handling, furniture assembly and general store support.

You will play an important role in ensuring products are received, handled and delivered safely and professionally. As you will regularly interact with customers in their homes, a friendly manner and professional presentation are essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Unload and check weekly stock deliveries from Perth.

• Load and deliver furniture and bedding safely to customers.

• Assemble furniture with care and attention to detail.

• Provide friendly and professional service in customers’ homes.

• Keep the storeroom clean, safe and organised.

• Assist with stock presentation, merchandising and general store duties.

• Complete delivery and stock records accurately.

• Safely lift, move and position bulky furniture using appropriate equipment and manual handling techniques.

• Drive company vehicles responsibly and follow all road rules and company requirements.

• Work with the Margaret River team to keep store and delivery operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• A current unrestricted C Class Driver’s Licence with a good driving history.

• Previous delivery-driving experience.

• Experience delivering large or bulky goods.

• A good level of physical fitness and the ability to safely undertake regular manual handling.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.

• An understanding of safe manual handling practices and workplace safety.

• Basic knowledge and experience using hand tools, which will be highly regarded.

• Professional presentation and the ability to work respectfully in customers’ homes.

• The ability to obtain and provide a National Police Clearance.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
