Product Manager

Take ownership of product development and play a key role in bringing new products to market for a growing international business.
  
Glass Warehouse is a leader in frameless glass shower enclosures and accent mirrors, combining design, functionality and attention to detail across its range. Headquartered in Oceanside, California, the business designs and manufactures modular glass products for residential and commercial spaces, with operations spanning the USA, Australia, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.
  
This is a newly created Product Manager role with the opportunity to work directly with the founders and have a hands-on impact across the entire product development process.
  
You’ll help drive products from concept through to launch, coordinating suppliers, factories and internal teams while improving speed-to-market and bringing greater structure, accountability and efficiency to the way products are developed.
  
What the role looks like:

• Coordinate products from concept through to launch
• Improve speed-to-market and keep product projects moving
• Manage supplier follow-up and coordinate with factories across China and Vietnam
• Coordinate communication between Asia-based factories and the US team
• Oversee operational product workflows and product launches
• Manage day-to-day technical support across the product range
• Source and investigate new products, including commercial viability
• Oversee product quality control
• Work across teams to implement new products
• Support product specification and drive sales activity with commercial customers
• Work closely with international marketing, operations and support teams
• Participate in leadership and management team meetings
• Support sales operations as required

Regular overseas travel is required, including approximately four trips to China each year, occasional travel to the USA and limited travel to Vietnam as required.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• 2–3 years leadership experience

Experience within building products, bathroom products, sanitaryware, glass, hardware, manufacturing, importing/distribution or home improvement would be preferred.
  
Experience dealing with China-based suppliers, international supply chains, product sourcing/manufacturing or product specification/design would be highly regarded.
  
A valid passport and willingness to travel internationally are essential.
