Cold Storage High Reach Forklift Operators - Brisbane / Gold Coast

Markwell Cold Storage is seeking a dedicated and experienced High Reach Forklift Operator to join our team. This position offers the potential for a full-time contract for the right candidate. As well as very competitive market pay rates, location is just off the M1 for an easy commute that’s situated halfway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane

The vacancies are for both Day and afternoon shifts reporting to the Shift Supervisor and ultimately the Warehouse Manager. Ability to handle Admin Tasks will be highly favourable.

Responsibilities:

• Operate High Reach forklifts efficiently and safely

• Utilize RF Guns for accurate inventory management

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail

About You:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Solid numeracy skills

• Current forklift license

• Proven experience with High Reach Forklifts

• Experience with RF Scanning

• Order picking experience

• Physically fit and self-motivated

• High attention to detail

• Reliable and eager to learn

• Available for an immediate start

• Computer literate

• Own reliable transport

• Good understanding of workplace Health & Safety requirements

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a freezer environment

• Double Deep Rack experience

• Experience with ESR Forklifts
