About the role
Howe Farming Enterprises is looking for a Trade-Qualified Mechanic or Diesel Fitter to join our workshop team in Mareeba. Work on a diverse modern fleet across one of Far North Queensland’s leading agricultural operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing and diagnostics across our mixed fleet.
• Field and workshop repairs to minimise operational downtime during harvest cycles.
• Maintain accurate job cards, service logs and parts tracking.
• Champion workshop safety standards and clean work practices.
What We’re Looking For:
• Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical, Mobile Plant or Light Vehicle (or equivalent trade qualification).
• Solid diagnostic and problem solving ability with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
• Current C-Class Driver’s Licence (HR/MR advantageous).
• Self-motivated attitude with pride in quality workmanship.
