About the Opportunity

This role encompasses the optimal service provision of high quality imaging in general and emergency trauma radiography, intra-operative image intensification, mobile radiography, dental imaging, digital screening, CT, DSA and other services in a PACS environment. 

In this role you will:

• Maintain optimal standards of patient care, promote and maintain optimal standards of radiography and radiation safety.
• Ensure accurate and efficient completion of administrative tasks recorded in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to all patient, staff and workplace matters.
• Report archival errors and associated IIMS submissions as well as faults and/or breakdowns in imaging equipment to the Chief Radiographer.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Science) or Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Sciences) or qualifications deemed equivalent by CCLHD.
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of competency and consistently high standard of clinical practice and decision making.
• Proven ability to participate in 24 hour shift and on-call roster, and compliance with the emergency after hours call back requirements of the CCLHD.
• Demonstrated proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Be able to demonstrate a good level of computer literacy, including familiarity with RIS/PACS systems.
