About the Opportunity
Join NT PHN in a People and Culture role where you will provide specialist advice and expertise across contemporary human resources practices, employment legislation, organisational policy and employee relations.
The People, Culture and Safety Business Partner supports the effective delivery of NT PHN’s People and Culture function, helping to ensure our practices are legally compliant, aligned with organisational values and responsive to workforce needs. Working closely with the People, Culture and Safety Manager, leaders and employees across the organisation, you will contribute to a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace while leading projects that strengthen workforce capability and engagement.
This role also provides mentorship and support to other People, Culture and Safety team members, helping to ensure the consistent and seamless delivery of People, Culture and Safety activities across the organisation.
About You
You are an experienced People and Culture professional who can balance strategic thinking with responsive, practical support. You bring broad generalist experience, sound knowledge of employment legislation and the confidence to advise stakeholders on complex or sensitive workplace matters.
You are organised, collaborative and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities, lead projects and communicate clearly with employees, managers and senior leaders.

The People, Culture and Safety Business Partner works closely with the People, Culture and Safety Manager to support the effective operation of NT PHN’s People, Culture and Safety function. The role provides specialist advice to stakeholders, supports the development and implementation of People, Culture and Safety strategies and contributes to a safe, compliant and positive working environment.

To be successful in your application, you must have legal working rights in Australia. This role may require travel within the Northern Territory, including remote communities and interstate. A current NT driver’s licence, police clearance and Ochre card are required for this position.
