Podiatrist – Aged Care & NDIS

About the role

As a Podiatrist with Social Club Ability Services, you will provide assessment, treatment and ongoing foot-care services to clients in their homes and community settings. Pay negotiable

Key responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive podiatry and foot-health assessments

• Providing general foot and nail care

• Managing common foot conditions, including corns, calluses and skin and nail concerns

• Providing diabetic foot assessments and ongoing monitoring

• Assessing clients at risk of falls or mobility-related complications

• Providing education regarding foot health, footwear and preventative care

• Developing individualised treatment and management plans

• Making recommendations for appropriate footwear, orthotics or other supports where clinically indicated

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and progress notes

• Liaising with care coordinators, support coordinators, families, GPs and other allied health professionals

About you

• A recognised qualification in Podiatry

• Current AHPRA registration

• Current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

• Current National Police Check

• NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent clinical documentation and organisational skills

• A compassionate and person-centred approach to care
