ICT Support Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Support Engineer to join our team, providing technical support across our systems, networks and applications. You'll be the go-to person for diagnosing and resolving IT issues, keeping our infrastructure running smoothly, and helping our people work productively every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first, second and third-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, network and business applications
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, email and security system faults for end users
• Install, configure, maintain and upgrade desktop hardware, operating systems, software and peripheral equipment
• Log, manage and resolve support tickets and incidents within agreed service level timeframes, escalating complex issues where required
• Support and maintain servers, network infrastructure, security systems and cloud/on-premises environments
• Develop and maintain support procedures, knowledge base articles and technical documentation, including user guides and maintenance records
• Provide technical guidance and training to staff on application software and operational procedures
• Liaise with users and management to communicate system changes, standards and best practice
• Contribute to systems and infrastructure reviews, and recommend hardware/software improvements
• Assist with the rollout of new systems, applications and infrastructure projects
• Provide approved onsite technical support at customer sites, including installation, troubleshooting and issue resolution outside the office
• Conduct quality/systems audits, tracking non-compliance, and reviewing operational procedures against established standards
• Conduct systems architecture reviews and recommending future hardware and software strategies

About You

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience minimum 2 years in an ICT support, help desk or systems administration role
• Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop, network and application environments
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
