Christ Church Grammar School is seeking an outstanding and passionate Humanities Teacher to join our highly regarded Humanities Department for a fixed-term appointment during 2027.
This opportunity is suited to an educator who is passionate about engaging students in the study of society, economics, business and the world around them. The successful applicant will teach Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) from Years 7 to 10, with the ability to teach Year 11 and 12 ATAR Business Management and Enterprise (BME) and/or Economics highly regarded.

About the Role
You will deliver engaging and academically rigorous Humanities learning programs across Years 7 to 10. Experience teaching, or the capacity to teach, Year 11 and 12 ATAR Business Management and Enterprise (BME) and/or Economics will be highly regarded.
Working closely with colleagues, you will contribute positively to curriculum development, support innovative classroom practice and foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking and academic growth.
Beyond the classroom, you will participate in the School's co-curricular and pastoral programs, contributing to the development of confident, capable and compassionate young men.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience teaching Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS), particularly Economics and BME.
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Humanities education
The ability to engage and inspire students across a range of abilities and backgrounds
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute positively to a high-performing team
Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
A commitment to innovative teaching practices and the effective use of technology in learning
Genuine care for student wellbeing and holistic education
The enthusiasm to become an active member of a vibrant school community
