We’re currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Casual Merchandise team member to join our Nutrien Ingham team and help drive in-store sales across our agricultural merchandise range.

What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll focus on building strong customer relationships. Our customer base is diverse and includes local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers. Your priority will be to deliver a memorable experience for every customer - both in store and over the phone - while:

Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goodsAssisting customers with pricing and product queriesProcessing counter salesMaintaining safety processesAssisting with merchandise campaign materialMaintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environmentLoading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveriesThis role includes a rotating Saturday roster

What You'll Bring:

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You’ll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:

Experience working within a sales environmentEffective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationshipsA proactive approach to work and practical organisation skillsExcellent attention to detailProblem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptlyAbility to identify ways to improve internal sales processesCompetent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookCurrent driver’s license and forklift license is essential.
