About the role
About the role
We're looking for an experienced, qualified Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis, working across a range of custom residential projects — from heritage renovations to architecturally designed extensions. You'll work closely with our site supervisors and fellow tradespeople to deliver a high standard of finish on every job.
Key responsibilities
Reading and interpreting architectural plans and drawings
Structural carpentry, framing and formwork
First and second fix carpentry, including doors, windows, skirting and architraves
Working collaboratively with site supervisors, subcontractors and other trades
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite
Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project specifications
Adhering to WHS policies and procedures at all times
About you
Certificate III in Carpentry (trade qualified)
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in residential construction, ideally on custom builds, renovations or extensions
Active ABN and own Public Liability Insurance
Sound knowledge of the NCC/BCA and current building standards
Own tools and reliable transport (essential)
Current White Card
Driver's licence
Strong communication and time-management skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
A keen eye for detail and pride in high-quality finishes
