We are looking for an experienced Plant Trainer & Assessor to join our team in a full-time, permanent position working across multiple projects on a FIFO/DIDO basis.
This sought-after position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of mining, civil construction, crushing, quarrying, renewable energy and infrastructure projects throughout Australia.

About the Role |
As a Plant Trainer & Assessor, you will play a key role in ensuring our plant operators are highly skilled, competent, and uphold company standards in equipment operation and care.
Working across a broad range of projects including mineral sands mining, quarrying, crushing operations, tailings dam construction, renewable energy developments and large-scale civil infrastructure projects, you will be responsible for developing workforce capability while maintaining compliance with company and industry standards.
This position is critical in maintaining a strong safety culture and supporting workforce development.
Your responsibilities will include:
Training and upskilling plant operators to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Managing training records and maintaining an up-to-date site skills matrix.
Working across a broad range of projects including mineral sands mining, quarrying, crushing operations, tailings dam construction, renewable energy developments and large-scale civil infrastructure projects, you will be responsible for developing workforce capability while maintaining compliance with company and industry standards.
Assisting with site induction programs to support workforce readiness.
Collaborating with Project Managers, Mining Superintendents/Supervisors, and HSE Coordinators to optimize training strategies.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for plant operation and training programs.
About You |
We are looking for someone with:
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (is mandatory)
Proven experience as a multi skilled mobile plant in an open-pit mining, civil or crushing environment.
RII accredited tickets in relevant mobile plant
Strong commitment to safety and the ability to foster a high-performing safety culture.
Leadership qualities, with the ability to mentor and lead by example.
Proficiency in IT systems, including PowerPoint and Excel, with accurate data entry skills.
An understanding of adult learning principles and a passion for training and developing others.
Willingness to occasionally operate plant equipment as required.
