About the role

As a Leading Hand Electrician, you'll lead a small team across a range of commercial construction projects throughout Perth, while remaining hands-on with installation works.

Your responsibilities will include:

• leading and coordinating 1-2 apprentices

• commercial electrical installations (incl. cabling, switchboards and lighting)

• reviewing drawings, specifications, and requirements

• planning daily work activities, materials, and labour

• monitoring workmanship, productivity, and safety

• testing, commissioning, and quality documentation

• identifying and escalating installation issues

• coordinating with other trades and supporting project delivery.

What we're looking for

• Full Australian working rights essential

• Current WA Electrical Workers Licence essential

• Current Australian driver's licence essential

• Demonstrated commercial construction experience

• Experience leading apprentices or small installation teams

• Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and commercial installation practices

• Ability to read/interpret electrical drawings and specifications

• Confident using technology, software, and iPad-based systems

• Education/retail/industrial/multi-level commercial project experience highly regarded

• Familiarity with Simpro and Autodesk Forma advantageous.
