About the role

Henty Gold Mine is seeking an experienced Underground Fixed Plant Fitter to join the underground maintenance team. Servicing and maintaining underground fixed plant including pumps, dewatering systems, ventilation fans and associated infrastructure and reporting to the Underground Maintenance Foreman.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain underground fixed plant and pumping infrastructure

• Service ventilation systems and associated equipment

• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance

• Identify and rectify safety hazards

• Participate in risk assessments and pre-start meetings

• Work collaboratively with underground operations to achieve production targets

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

About you

• Trade qualification (Fixed Plant Mechanic/Pump Fitter or similar)

• Underground fixed plant or pumping experience

• Strong commitment to safety

• Good communication skills

• Current Driver's Licence

• Welding skills and underground operator tickets highly regarded
