About The Role

We are currently looking for a full-time Forklift Operator to join our team on Day Shift based at Clayton South. As a Forklift Operator you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient flow and storage of inventory into and out of all allocated zones. This role is within our Production team and does require the successful candidate to willingly help on the Production line as required also.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Safe, timely and accurate stock movement 
• Accurate recording of stock movements 
• Use of designated equipment to meet management requirements 
• Forklift 
• Palletisers 
• Labelers 
• RF scanner 
• Daily forklift inspections and adherence to policies 
• Assistance on the production line as required
• Effective and clear communication across all levels of our company on all necessary issues  

About You

Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ recent experience working in a similar role. 

You will have: 

• A high-reach Forklift license 
• A high degree of competency in operating a forklift 
• Experience in production/manufacturing environment: automated palletizer and pallet wrappers 
• Ability to use RF Scanner to accurately record stock movement.  
• High level of consideration for safety of people, equipment and products 
• Strong communication skills, including understanding of spoken and written English language 
• You will bring to the team your passion, energy, drive and a relentless focus on the safe and efficient operation of a Forklift.

Successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical screening including drug and alcohol testing. In addition, all successful interviewees will be required to complete an on-site forklift competency assessment.
