Stralis Energy is an electrical engineering company that specialises in large scale solar projects as well as underground and overhead HV distribution.

About the Role

We're seeking Electricians for an exciting opportunity on the New England Solar Farm, located near Armidale, NSW, with opportunities to work on subsequent projects across Australia.

Stralis Energy's scope of works includes above and below ground electrical works, including underground conduit and cable installation, cable terminations, testing and commissioning.

We welcome applications from local candidates, and candidates travelling to the project on a roster basis.

This is a casual position with a start in mid to late August 2026.

• Monday to Saturday or 20 & 8 roster.

• Sunday work available.

• Penalty rates.

• Accommodation, LAFHA.

• Travel allowance provided for rostered travel to and from the project.

Skills and Experience 

• Solar farm experience preferable.

• DC knowledge, testing and commissioning of DC infrastructure preferable.

• Current Electrical Licence, Drivers Licence & White Card.

• Current LVR-CPR certificate.

• Must be safety-conscious and able to work effectively on large-scale projects while adhering to strong safety standards and protocols.

• Show good attention to detail and have the ability to work in a team environment with a can-do attitude.

• Be fit and able to pass an employment medical / drug and alcohol test.

• Able to pass a daily breath test and random drug tests on site.

• You will be hardworking, diligent, and professionally present yourself.

• Supply basic hand tools.
