Finance Officer

About the role

This varied role will see you supporting the day-to-day finance function. Reporting to the Management Accountant, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their finance career within a supportive manufacturing environment. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of finance functions while contributing to a business that manufactures products recognised both nationally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Banking and reconciliations

• Payroll support

• Inventory and job costing assistance

• Month-end reporting support

• General finance administration

• Continuous improvement initiatives

About you

• Experience in an accounts, bookkeeping or finance administration role, or a Certificate III/IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (or be working towards one)

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

• Experience in a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded but is not essential
