Veterinary Practice Manager

About the role

As Practice Manager, you'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic. You'll work closely with our veterinarians, nurses and reception team to ensure exceptional patient care, efficient operations and a positive, supportive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing daily operations of the clinic, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional client service

• Managing rostering, inventory, supplier relationships and financial processes

• Supporting and developing team members through leadership, training and regular staff reviews

• Maintaining compliance with veterinary industry standards and regulations

• Driving clinic performance through planning, reporting and continuous improvement

• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective systems and processes

About you

• Previous experience in veterinary, medical or allied health practice management (preferred) or at least five years of veterinary nursing experience in a senior role

• Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team

• Proficiency with practice management software and business administration

• A client-focused mindset and a passion for animal welfare

• Confidence making decisions and the ability to work independently
