About You:

Ready to take ownership of critical engineering projects? We are looking for a proactive Plant Engineer to lead reliability, maintenance strategy, and capital projects at our West Footscray facility. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role where your technical expertise will directly impact our operational success.

What You Bring -

• Background in heavy industry or manufacturing environments.
• Success leading end-to-end capital projects and turnkey solutions.
• Strong mechanical design skills using CAD and SolidWorks.
• Ability to connect, communicate, and influence at all levels of the business.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will serve as the technical backbone of our manufacturing operations. Your primary objective is to enhance safety, quality, and overall equipment efficiency through continuous improvement and structured methodologies.
 
Key Responsibilities -

• Plant Reliability: Provide technical leadership in asset reliability utilising RCA (Root Cause Analysis), RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance), and defect elimination.
• Capital Projects: Identify, scope, justify, and deliver engineering projects that enhance plant capability, capacity, and cost performance.
• Asset Strategy: Balance long-term asset strategy, capital planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise whole-of-life performance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal Manufacturing, Procurement, and OHS teams, as well as external clients and subcontractors.
