Solar PV Roofer or Apprentice

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Solar PV Roofer or Apprentice to join our team at Southwest Solar Force. This full-time role is based in Bunbury and will play a crucial part in the installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems on residential and commercial properties.

What you'll be doing

• Installing solar panels, inverters and other components on roofs and other structures

• Conducting safety checks and testing to ensure the quality and reliability of solar installations

• Troubleshooting and repairing any issues with existing solar PV systems

• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all installations and service work

• Collaborating with the wider team to deliver high-quality solar solutions for our customers

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications and experience in the solar or electrical industry, or a willingness to undertake an apprenticeship

• Strong understanding of solar PV system design, installation, and maintenance

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Good communication and customer service skills

• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
