About the role

Tuckett's Tyrepower Cranbourne is seeking a skilled and dedicated Wheel Alignment / Tyre Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Cranbourne, VIC 3977, this role is central to delivering high-quality automotive services to our customers. As a Wheel Alignment / Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for performing precision wheel alignment work, tyre fitting, balancing, and related maintenance services. This is a hands-on position that directly impacts customer satisfaction and vehicle safety, making it essential to our business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform wheel alignment services using modern diagnostic equipment and alignment machines to industry standards

• Fit, balance, and remove tyres for a variety of vehicles, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify alignment issues, tyre wear patterns, and suspension concerns

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work completed

• Advise customers on tyre maintenance, wheel alignment needs, and vehicle safety recommendations

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices

• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, including proper storage and handling of tyres and equipment

• Assist in stock management and ordering of tyres and related products as needed

• Provide exceptional customer service and support to the wider Tuckett's Tyrepower team

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in automotive wheel alignment and / or tyre fitting, or equivalent hands-on experience in a similar role

• Proven experience working as a tyre technician or wheel alignment specialist in a commercial automotive workshop

• Competency in using wheel alignment equipment, tyre fitting machines, and balancing equipment

• Strong understanding of vehicle suspension systems, steering geometry, and tyre specifications

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering precision work

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to commute to Cranbourne

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Physical capability to perform hands-on mechanical work, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items

• Current or willingness to obtain relevant safety certifications as required by the automotive industry
