Early Childhood Educator- C3 & Diploma

Curious Minds Early Learning Centre is a boutique, family-owned early learning centre located in the heart of Crows Nest. Licensed for just 14 children per day, we provide a calm, nurturing and relationship-focused environment where children, families and educators are genuinely valued.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

As part of our close-knit team, you will:

• Provide high-quality education and care for children from birth to pre-school age.

• Support the planning and implementation of engaging learning experiences based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.

• Support children's daily routines, including supervision, meal times and care.

• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment.

• Work collaboratively with your teammates to create a positive, respectful and inclusive culture.

• Work in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations, the National Quality Standard (NQS) and centre policies.

Employment hours are negotiable for the right candidate.

You are someone who:

• Is passionate about early childhood education and care.

• Is kind, positive, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team.

• Communicates confidently and professionally with children, families and colleagues.

• Holds (or is working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

• Holds a current Working With Children Check.

• Holds (or is willing to obtain) current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.

• Has completed Child Protection training.

• Has a sound understanding of the EYLF and NQS.

• Is confident using technology, including iPads and childcare software.

• Previous experience in an early childhood setting is highly regarded.
