About The Role
We have a great opportunity for a Fire Electrician to join our Sydney Service Division.
Working across a variety of commercial sites, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, repairs and programming of fire detection and alarm systems, while helping to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Service Fire Electrician with strong technical knowledge and a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
Servicing, testing, maintaining and repairing fire detection and alarm systems.
Advanced fault-finding and diagnostics across conventional and addressable fire panels and systems.
Programming, configuring and commissioning fire panels and associated equipment.
Completing repairs, upgrades, modifications and minor works in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and manufacturer requirements.
Identifying faults, defects and non-compliances and carrying out or recommending appropriate rectification works.
Conducting preventative maintenance to ensure fire systems remain operational, compliant and reliable.
Working across a range of fire panels, detection and alarm systems.
Completing service reports, test results and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Liaising with the Service team and clients to ensure works are completed efficiently and client requirements are met.
Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, compliance and customer service.
About You
Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
Must hold a current NSW Drivers Licence.
Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
Current NSW Electrical Licence.
Strong servicing, fault-finding and maintenance experience across addressable and conventional fire systems.
Experience programming, configuring and diagnosing fire panels across various brands.
Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with SimPRO experience highly regarded.
A proactive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to continuous learning and development.
Willingness to undergo a Working With Children Check, Australian Federal Police Check and pre-employment medical.
