We are seeking experienced and motivated leaders to join our restaurant team in North Lakes, Australia. We're looking for a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, and Shift Leaders who are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences while driving operational excellence. Lead, mentor, and motivate restaurant staff to achieve performance goals and maintain high service standardsOversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and facility maintenanceManage staff scheduling, time-off requests, and workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage during all service periodsMonitor and control food costs, labor expenses, and other operational costs to achieve profitability targetsEnsure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations at all timesTrain and onboard new team members, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedbackHandle customer concerns and complaints professionally, resolving issues to maintain customer satisfactionManage cash handling, reconciliation, and financial reporting proceduresAnalyze sales data and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvementCommunicate effectively with upper management regarding performance, challenges, and strategic initiativesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for staff and customersCoordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of management experience in a restaurant or food service environmentProven track record of successfully leading and developing restaurant teamsStrong knowledge of food safety, health codes, and restaurant compliance requirementsProficiency with restaurant POS systems and point-of-sale technologyExcellent time management and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze financial data and manage P&L responsibilitiesStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse teamsProblem-solving abilities and sound judgment in high-pressure situationsCustomer service excellence and commitment to guest satisfactionExperience with inventory management and cost control proceduresAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredConflict resolution and mediation skillsProficiency in restaurant management software and reporting tools (preferred)Experience in multi-unit or fast-casual restaurant environments (preferred)Knowledge of local Australian food service regulations and standards
