Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gold Coast, responsible for supporting the employee lifecycle and day-to-day HR operations. This position manages recruitment activities, onboarding, and offboarding processes, and assists with workforce planning to ensure staffing needs are met. The role involves administering employee benefits, coordinating performance reviews, maintaining HR records, and supporting managers with people-related matters. The Human Resources Specialist also helps develop and implement HR policies, ensures compliance with relevant employment legislation, and contributes to employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture.
Qualifications
Strong Human Resources (HR) and Personnel Management skills, with experience supporting employees and managers across the business.Proficiency in HR Management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance processes, and day-to-day HR administration.Ability to develop, interpret, and apply HR Policies while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company standards.Experience managing Employee Benefits, including communication, administration, and responding to employee inquiries.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build trust at all organizational levels.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and confidentiality in handling HR data.Proficiency with HR information systems and Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience in a service or trade-based environment, such as security, construction, or facilities management, is an advantage.
