About the Role

Reporting to the Site Services Manager, you will lead site fabrication crews and coordinate the safe and efficient delivery of fabrication, maintenance and shutdown works.

You will be responsible for supervising personnel, coordinating labour, materials and equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate fabrication personnel and subcontractors

• Lead daily pre-start meetings and promote a strong safety culture

• Plan and coordinate daily site activities

• Ensure work is completed in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications

• Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and site logistics

• Monitor productivity, quality and project progress

• Liaise with clients, Project Managers and workshop personnel

• Complete site documentation and reporting requirements

• Mentor apprentices and tradespeople

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification in Fabrication, Boilermaking or similar

• Previous experience supervising fabrication crews in heavy industrial environments

• Strong understanding of welding and fabrication standards

• Experience delivering shutdowns, maintenance and project work

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

• Commitment to workplace safety and quality

• Current Driver Licence

• Construction White Card

Desirable Qualifications

• Process Pipe Fitting and/or Pipe Welding experience

• Forklift Licence

• Dogging and/or Rigging Tickets

• Working at Heights

• Confined Space Entry
