Customer Service Representative

SteadFast is a leading Australian transport broker providing tailored freight solutions to businesses across the country. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Queensland team and play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Role

As the link between our customers, carriers, and internal teams, you will be responsible for ensuring freight moves smoothly while providing proactive communication and support throughout the customer journey.

This is more than a traditional customer service role. You'll be managing freight enquiries, coordinating with transport providers, solving problems, and helping customers achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, live chat, and CRM systems

• Track shipments and provide timely updates on critical deliveries

• Liaise with carriers to investigate and resolve delivery issues

• Maintain accurate records across HubSpot, MachShip, and internal systems

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are exceeded

• Build strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and service

• Prioritise urgent matters and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a customer service role

• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience required

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• A genuine passion for helping customers and solving problems

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

• Confidence using technology and learning new systems

• Experience within transport, logistics, freight, or supply chain industries is highly regarded but not essential
