Pathology Collector

About the role

We are looking for experience Pathology Collector to service Mackay and surrounding areas. Casual and Permanent part-time positions available. Your duties will be to take blood and other specimens form patients including performing ECG's and Holter monitors.

Key responsibilities

• Collection of blood and other samples from patients
• Performing ECGs, ABP and Holter monitors
• Processing of Pathology Specimens
• Clerical duties and Process paperwork
• Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors
• Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery

About you

• Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method
• Experience in ECGs ABP and Holter monitors
• Current QLD driver license
• Ability to work alone and as part of a busy team
• Ability to demonstrate organization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to priorities and work under pressure
• Basic computer skills
• Comply with Work Health and Safety
