Finishing Grader Operator

You always put safety first in everything you do.

You've been developing your skills and are ready to work on projects that matter to the people of NSW. You know that quality matters and that delivering results requires a great team.

In this role, you'll:

Bring experience in road construction and maintenance, particularly operating a Grader using your demonstrated ability to trim and finish road pavements to tight tolerances.

Operate plant machinery to achieve predetermined tolerances, achieving high quality and smooth road output.

Undertake projects across the region that will require working away from home.

You will be paid a living away from home allowance, paid accommodation and paid travel time to and from work sites.

Perform the duties of a Road Worker Grade 3 when not operating the Grader.

Work a 9-day fortnight roster (Every other Monday off)

About you

We're seeking a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments.

You are an experienced Finishing Grader Operator using GPS to assist with levels and alignment.

You will also hold the following:

- White Card

- Current unrestricted NSW Driver's license

- Experience operating plant machinery

- Traffic Controller Certification - Or willing to obtain

- A Medium/Heavy Rigid truck licence, while not essential, would be advantageous.

We take WH&S and the management of fatigue of our employees seriously. Therefore, to be successful in this role it is a requirement that you must reside within a 100 km distance from the Dubbo depot.
