Experienced Barista

About the Role:

We are a vibrant cafe located in Manuka looking for a skilled, passionate, and energetic Barista / Cafe All-Rounder to join our team.

This position starts as a Casual role offering approximately 25 hours per week, with flexible shifts. For the right candidate who demonstrates high performance, reliability, and leadership qualities, this position has a clear pathway to transition into a Full-Time role and advance into Cafe Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve consistently high-quality coffee and specialty beverages.

Provide warm, friendly, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Maintain clean, organized, and hygienic workstations adhering to food safety standards.

Efficiently operate POS system and handle daily cash/card transactions.

Assist with basic food prep, table service, and general cafe cleaning as needed.

Demonstrate teamwork and leadership potential as the business grows.

Requirements & Skills:

Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Barista in a busy cafe.

Strong dial-in skills, latte art, and milk steaming techniques.

Punctual, reliable, and capable of multi-tasking during peak rush hours.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid Australian work rights.
