About the role
This is a hands-on leadership role supporting the Warehouse Manager and helping ensure the warehouse operates safely, efficiently and smoothly each day.
Key responsibilities
Support the Warehouse Manager with daily operations and team performance
Lead, motivate and supervise warehouse staff
Coordinate & perform picking, packing, receiving and dispatch activities
Assist with stock control, inventory and warehouse organisation
Train and support new team members
About you
Previous warehouse or logistics experience in a 3PL environment
Previous team leader, supervisor or 2IC experience preferred but not essential
Strong communication and leadership skills
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Reliable, proactive and able to work well within a team
Forklift licence
Good understanding of workplace health and safety
