Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.
Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
Nepean Hospital is seeking a dynamic Clinical Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to lead our busy Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Nursing leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture. As the Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to one of the region's busiest Emergency Departments, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and evidence-based care 24 hours a day. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will drive continuous improvement, support staff development, and contribute to the ongoing growth of emergency services at Nepean Hospital.
This is a role that will see you lead and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team, manage workforce planning performance, drive quality improvement, accreditation and patient safety initiatives whilst promoting evidence-based practice, innovation and continuous service improvement. We are looking for an inspiring leader who demonstrates strong knowledge of contemporary Emergency Nursing practice and health service management, excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence and person-centred care.
If you are a passionate Nursing leader ready to make a lasting impact on Emergency care, we encourage you to apply. Join Nepean Hospital and help shape the future of Emergency Nursing while delivering exceptional care to our community.
