About the role
Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of high-end construction projects from commencement through to practical completion and defects liability. Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the internal project team, you'll deliver projects safely, on programme, within budget and to quality standards - while providing an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, delivering safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Lead and support project teams, mentoring team members and promoting a positive, accountable workplace culture.
Monitor project budgets, cash flow and profitability, reviewing progress claims and subcontractor claims.
Manage variations and cost forecasting, protecting profitability.
Monitor construction programmes and critical milestones, identifying risks and implementing recovery strategies.
Maintain strong client relationships throughout construction, chairing project meetings and providing regular updates.
Coordinate architects, engineers, interior designers and consultants.
Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure compliance with contract documentation, NCC and Australian Standards.
Coordinate defect management and project handover.
Coordinate procurement and long-lead items with the project team.
Skills and Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Building or Project Management (desirable).
5+ years experience as a Project Manager in high-end residential or luxury construction preferred.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing project teams and subcontractors.
Solid commercial acumen across budgeting, cost forecasting and variations management.
Current White Card and Driver Licence.
Lives around or can travel to Southern Highlands or Northern Beaches sites weekly preferred.
