About the Role

Skyline Hire is seeking experienced Riggers to support crane hire, rigging, lifting and site-based works across the Pilbara. This role suits practical, safety-focused personnel who understand high-risk lifting activities and work well as part of a crane crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rigging and lifting activities safely and in accordance with site requirements

• Assist crane operators, supervisors and site teams with lift preparation and execution

• Inspect rigging gear, lifting equipment and work areas before use

• Participate in pre-starts, toolbox talks, lift planning and risk assessments

• Follow SWMS, lift plans, client requirements and company procedures

• Communicate clearly with crane operators, dogmen, riggers and supervisors

• Identify hazards and escalate safety concerns promptly

• Assist with mobilisation, demobilisation, loading, unloading and general site tasks

• Maintain good housekeeping and care of equipment

 Skills and Experience

• Relevant High Risk Work Licence for rigging and/or dogging

• Experience in crane, rigging, construction, mining, shutdown or heavy industrial works

• Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and high-risk work requirements

• Ability to follow lift plans, SWMS and site instructions

• Current Australian driver's licence preferred

• Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude

• Ability to pass site medical, drug and alcohol screening and client mobilisation requirements

Desirable

• Intermediate or advanced rigging ticket

• EWP, forklift, working at heights or confined space tickets

• Previous Pilbara or FIFO experience

• Experience with shutdowns, maintenance or heavy industrial projects
