As we expand, we are seeking motivated and reliable individuals with a variety of skills to join our Production team at our world-class facility in Banyo. If you're looking for a casual on-call role between Monday to Friday, work within a food production environment, develop your skills and contribute to Australia's leading healthy meal provider, we'd love to hear from you.

Shift available:

Day shift - 7am (working a minimum of 4 hours +)
Afternoon shift - 3pm (working a minimum of 4 hours +)

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation

• Hand cutting and trimming fresh produce and raw/cooked meats
• Preparing vegetables and ingredients for production
• Measuring, mixing, and batching ingredients for a range of cooking processes

Assembly Line Production

• Performing repetitive, hands-on production line tasks
• Portioning meals to specification
• Moving products efficiently between production areas

Machine Operation

• Operating production equipment, including mixers, ovens, flow wrappers, date coding machines, X-ray systems, IBEX, and mezzanine equipment
• Ensuring machinery is operated safely and effectively

Physical and Fast-Paced Work

• Picking, packing, and preparing products for distribution
• Lifting, pushing, and pulling racks and boxes weighing up to 15-20kg
• Maintaining productivity in a high-volume environment

Cold Environment Work

• Working in temperature-controlled areas (approximately 8°C to -4°C)
• Performing occasional duties in freezer environments

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
• Previous production, manufacturing or food processing experience (highly regarded)
• The capability to work comfortably in cold-room conditions 
• A strong understanding of food safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Excellent reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
• Physical fitness and the ability to safely perform manual handling tasks up to 20kg
• A positive attitude and strong communication skills
• A willingness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team

Recruitment Process

As part of our recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an onsite Assessment Centre. This provides an opportunity for you to gain a better understanding of the role and work environment, while allowing us to assess skills relevant to the position.

The Assessment Centre may include:

• Practical assessment
• Interview
• Factory walkthrough
