About the Position:
We are looking for a capable grader operator with sound experience in road construction and maintenance.
You'll be responsible for operating a grader to construct and maintain road formations, subgrades, pavements, shoulders, batters and drains across the Shire's road network. The role requires working to specified levels, crossfalls, plans and instructions, with strong attention to detail and safety. You'll also operate other civil construction plant and equipment and assist with broader earthworks, drainage and maintenance activities as required.
Key responsibilities include:
Desirable skills include experience in final trim grading, machine control or GPS systems, regional road construction, and working under traffic management plans.
