ABN: 17 0950 456 95 JBS Pork Australia is an export accredited Pork Abattoir and Processing Plant located in Laverton North, Melbourne, employing more than 300 people. We are currently seeking applications from reliable, flexible and motivated people to begin your career in the Essential Service area of Meat Processing.

An exciting opportunity for Process Workers exists at our Laverton, VIC facility commencing in August 2026. We have 60 positions available. These are full-time permanent positions earning $26.12 (Level 1 / Grade C) per hour as per the Diamond Valley Pork Pty Ltd and Australasian Meat Industry Employees Union (Victorian Branch) Meat Processing Enterprise Agreement 2022.

Employees may be required to undertake any task or combination of tasks listed below: Perform a variety of straight-forward tasks using well established techniques and practices; Use plant and equipment requiring some training and experience;

Exercise limited discretion within the limits of training, in deciding how tasks are to be performed. Routine labouring and cleaning functions; Operating packaging equipment;

Basic knife duties subject to level of training; Sorting and packing Skills and experience:

Previous meat process experience is not essential. We only seek people who are reliable, flexible and have a strong work ethic, keen to learn and have the energy and desire to succeed. Full training and support is provided on an ongoing basis.
