Asphalt Labourer

CMA Asphalting Pty Ltd are a family owned and operated business based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs, servicing the Yarra Valley, greater metropolitan Melbourne and some rural areas. CMA specializes in civil asphalt works, driveways and commercial works including but not limited to car parks, roadways, patches etc.

The role: 

CMA are currently seeking experienced Asphalters with MR Truck license to join them on a full time basis. At CMA, you will be working in a close knit and experienced team, who pride themselves on their ability to deliver excellent service and exceptional quality. Immediate start available.  

Responsibilities: 

• Excavate and prep the worksite

• Operate machinary: Operate equipment such as bobcats, rollers excavators etc.

• Operate asphalt equipment: Use machines such as pavers, rollers, and other machinery for spreading and compacting asphalt.

• Perform manual labour tasks: Assist in carrying out physical labor, including lifting heavy materials, shoveling asphalt, and raking surfaces.

• Assist in paving operations: Help set forms, manage materials, and ensure smooth asphalt application in a variety of weather conditions.

• Transport tools and equipment: Move tools and materials around the job site as needed to ensure smooth operations.

• Assist with road repairs: Help with patching or resurfacing of roads and surfaces when required.

• Maintain equipment: Perform maintenance and pre-starts on machinery.

About you: 

• A great and honest communicator who is reliable and punctual.

• Minimum 2 years experience in Asphalt works. 

• Must have a willingness to learn and be receptive to feedback.

• Must hold a current drivers license with reliable vehicle.

• Must hold MR Truck license.

• Be flexible with hours (some overtime and weekend work offered).
