About the role
Discover a Rewarding Outback Role: Remote Area Registered Nurses – Oodnadatta
An exciting opportunity exists to join our remote area nursing team in Oodnadatta. Enjoy the South Australian outback lifestyle in a close-knit community serving locals, surrounding cattle stations, and tourists travelling along the iconic Oodnadatta Track. Experience the famous Pink Roadhouse, stunning desert views, and the warmth of a historic town on the old Ghan railway line.
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Remote Area Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive, culturally safe healthcare to the Oodnadatta community. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the local clinic and deliver emergency care after hours and on weekends as required.
Working as part of a small, dedicated team - including another Registered Nurse and an Aboriginal Health Worker - and in partnership with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Dunjiba Council, and Oodnadatta Aboriginal School, you will play a vital role in supporting health outcomes and wellbeing across this unique and remote region.
If you’re looking for a rewarding role that combines professional challenge, leadership, and community connection in one of South Australia’s most iconic outback settings, we’d love to hear from you.
